Havas Melbourne HQ

Havas Melbourne HQ

Hammond Studio continues their national relationship with Havas Group, designing their new headquarters over two levels in a downtown CBD Melbourne location.

The building’s entry sequence has been changed from the busy Flinders Street location to the more intriguing rear lane access of Duckboard Place.

This sequence curves around from Flinders Lane and back to AC/DC lane.

Some of Melbourne’s best street art and high-end restaurants are found here.

The Melbourne graffiti-style echos through the fitout with industrial finishes and custom artwork, including a neon typographic piece by artist Serlina Wong.

Josephine Meldgaard, Interior Designer for the project said,

“Conceived as a maker space, Havas Melbourne’s workplace is designed with the introduction of a playful pegboard wall that enables staff to personalise the workspace and to add their creative workings to the meeting room walls.”

“The beer hall forms a casual ‘meet and greet’ space to welcome clients to the agency, a town hall for staff presentations, and social space that supports day-to day-activities and after hours functions.”

This project successfully builds upon the success of Havas’ Sydney project, also designed by the Hammond Studio team.
