As you journey into the hotel you are led on a trip through Adelaide’s rich history as a city of festivals.
The modern colour palette is brightened by natural light and colourful wall art, inspired by neighbourhood festival posters.
The locally influenced decor is celebrated in the famed tessellated tile patterns of Adelaide with copper fixtures harking back to South Australia’s copper mining history.
Inside the rooms and suites bespoke geometrically designed indigo rugs lay the floors, and poster artwork from events such as OZAsia and Adelaide Fringe Festival decorate the walls – inspiring curiosity and a desire to explore what lays beneath the surface of this unique city.
As you arrive at the rooftop, the combination of red market bricks and an intricately tiled swimming pool looking over the city create a boutique oasis amidst the bustling cultural melting pot of restaurants and market traders down on the streets below.
The Merrymaker rooftop bar, designed in collaboration with studio-gram, provides the perfect launching pad for a night out.
Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets features 145 guestrooms and suites, a rooftop restaurant and bar with sweeping views of the Adelaide skyline, conference facilities, a brasserie, and an extensive podium level swimming pool and gym facilities.
It is a 4.5-star IHG branded property that pays tribute to neighbourhood pillars to create an innately local hotel experience.
